WoW Forever 1–35 Leveling Route: Zones, Dungeons and What Is Live

WoW Forever's live leveling path for ordered addon routes is 1–35. RestedXP's Forever Speedrun guides cover that range as of its 3 November 2026 update. Forever routes for 35–60 are scheduled after launch. This page is the practical 1–35 route map: starting zones, the busy 20–30 bracket, the low-30s plan, and which new dungeons fit. It does not invent 35–60 times or chapter lists.

Servers launched on 4 November 2026 at 23:00 UTC (Blizzard's live post). The public beta stopped at level 30, so treat everything past 30 as announced or early live data.

What “1–35” means right now

Levels 1–12: starting zones

Every race begins in its Classic-style starting area, plus Forever's new race:

Skyborne players should read the Skyborne leveling guide for the Zephras Isle exit. Don't judge a class on levels 1–9: pets, Voidwalker and many talents arrive around 10.

Levels 12–20: second zones and the first new dungeons

Alliance: Westfall, Loch Modan and Darkshore, then Redridge in the high teens. RestedXP's Night Elf route adds Loch Modan around 14–16 to bridge Darkshore and collect flight paths.

Horde: The Barrens for Orcs, Trolls and Tauren; Silverpine Forest for Undead. Expect long Barrens sessions into the twenties.

New dungeons in this slice (Blizzard dungeon overview):

• Hall of Thanes — 13–18, under Ironforge
• Ruins of Lordaeron — 15–20, above the Undercity

Run each once with its quests. Dungeon quest XP was halved on 1 October; dungeon kill XP rose about 20% on 8 October (Blizzard beta notes). Details: dungeon vs questing.

Levels 20–30: the densest bracket

This is where Forever diverges most from a Classic memory.

Alliance hubs: Redridge, Duskwood, Wetlands, Ashenvale, Stonetalon. RestedXP's October notes listed new Alliance quests in Duskwood, Wetlands and Redridge.

Horde hubs: Hillsbrad, Stonetalon, Ashenvale, Thousand Needles, with Barrens returns.

New dungeons:

• Excavation Site — 24–29, Wetlands
• City of Dalaran — 28–33 (attunement: Alliance from Southshore; Horde from Tarren Mill)

Pick up Dalaran attunement quests in your 20s so the instance is open when you hit 28.

Levels 30–35: announced path, still early live data

Because the public beta stopped at 30, this band is a plan, not a fully tested beta route:

Do not pad this page with invented hour counts for 30–35. For XP required per level (the curve matches Classic; total 1–60 is 4,084,700 XP), use the XP table and leveling time guides.

How to run the route in practice

1. Pick one ordered route and stick to it for a session. Switching mid-bracket costs flight paths and quest log space. See best leveling route.
2. Keep XP buffs up. Rested XP, food, Camp Tent and the Cozy Sleeping Bag are covered on XP buffs and rested XP.
3. Bank gold toward riding. Blizzard confirmed the mount-included-with-riding model; community reports put Apprentice Riding near 100 gold at 40 — save early even if your first character stops planning at 35 for now.
