Scarlet Monastery in WoW Forever: Wing Levels, Quests, Changes

Scarlet Monastery in WoW Forever keeps its four wings in Tirisfal Glades and its 30–46 spread, and it was one of the dungeons open in the beta. What's Forever-specific is thinner than for the low dungeons because the beta stopped at level 30: a Group Finder entry at 30, a Legacy point for clearing every wing, a few beta-spotted drops and optional RestedXP coverage. Bind on Forever marks all four as unchanged from Classic (BoF). The wiki's ranges come from loot sites, and it lists the Group Finder level as 30 (wiki). Run the wings in order: Graveyard, Library, Armory, Cathedral.

What we know is different in Forever

• Open in the beta. Blizzard's October 1 notes list Scarlet Monastery among the available dungeons, but with the level 30 cap only the Graveyard was really at level.
• Beta-spotted items. The wiki reports Scorn, who appeared only during the Scourge invasion in Classic, seen in the Graveyard with Scorn's Icy Choker, and Aegis of the Scarlet Commander from Mograine. Treat both as beta sightings.
• Legacy point. Bind on Forever says clearing every wing counts toward Experienced Spelunker; Blizzard's Legacy article lists defeating the final boss in all level 26 to 45 dungeons. See our Legacy points guide.
• Loot policy. Blizzard says every dungeon drop was re-examined and unique boss items are now blue (Deep Dive recap). The wiki still shows mostly Classic loot for the upper wings.

How Forever changed dungeon XP and loot

• Quest bonus cut. Blizzard's October 1 notes say "Dungeon quests now reward 50% less extra experience beyond normal quest values." The normal quest XP stayed, so a dungeon's quests are still worth doing once.
• More XP from kills. The October 8 notes raised experience from dungeon creatures by about 20%, made the party XP penalty apply per member, and lowered dungeon quest rewards from Rare to Uncommon.
• Loot was re-examined. Blizzard's Deep Dive recap says "every dungeon drop has been re-examined", hundreds of new drops were added, unique dungeon boss items are now blue and set bonuses were improved. If a bind-on-pickup Uncommon or Rare drops, its appearance goes to every eligible looter.
